Full-Time
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a progressive mixed farming business in Oxfordshire.

This is not your typical farm worker role. We're looking for someone who enjoys variety, wants to learn every aspect of a modern farming enterprise, and is interested in the future of sustainable and regenerative agriculture.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their agricultural career who wants exposure to every aspect of a modern farming business and is keen to develop into a future management role.

Working directly alongside an experienced and supportive Farm Manager, you'll gain hands-on experience across livestock, arable, estate management and the wider commercial side of the business. The farm includes arable land, woodland, environmental areas and a growing livestock enterprise, offering genuine variety and responsibility from day one.

The business regularly works alongside well known names within the agricultural sector, creating excellent opportunities to build your professional network and gain exposure to innovative farming practices, field trials and the latest developments in modern agriculture.

The Role

This is a genuine all-rounder position where no two days are the same. Responsibilities will include:

Livestock husbandry and grazing management
Drilling, cultivations and harvest operations
Grassland management
Fencing and general farm and estate maintenance
Operating and maintaining modern farm machinery
Supporting environmental and regenerative farming initiativesAlongside the practical work, you'll gain exposure to:

Farm accounts and financial management
Budgeting and business planning
Grant applications and stewardship schemes
Crop rotations and strategic decision-making
Estate management
Soil health monitoring and regenerative agriculture
On-farm research projects and field trialsThis role is ideal for someone who wants to understand not only how a farm operates, but how and why key decisions are made.

About You

We're open-minded about experience and background. You may be a recent agricultural graduate, come from a livestock background, be working on a family farm, or simply be looking to build the experience needed for a future management role.

Most importantly, you'll be:

Keen to learn and develop
Interested in regenerative agriculture and sustainable farming systems
Practical, proactive and willing to get involved
Curious about the commercial side of farming
Someone who enjoys variety and thinking outside the boxPackage

Salary from £28,000+ depending on experience
Annual performance-related bonus
Accommodation included
Rent and utility bills covered (council tax TBC)
Direct mentoring from an experienced Farm Manager
Ongoing training and development
Exposure to innovative farming systems and leading agricultural businesses
Healthy work-life balance, including time off in lieu for weekend dutiesThis role would suit someone looking to build an exceptional foundation across all aspects of modern agriculture while developing the skills, knowledge and network needed for a successful long-term career in the industry.
