Location: Dartford, Kent

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm

The Role

As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes. Working within a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for operating equipment, assembling products, maintaining quality standards, and supporting warehouse activities.

Key Responsibilities

Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently to meet daily production targets.

Assemble products and components accurately in line with work instructions and quality standards.

Conduct visual inspections and basic quality checks throughout the production process.

Pick, pack, label, and prepare finished goods for dispatch and storage.

Support stock control activities, including replenishment, inventory tracking, and material movement.

Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.

Follow all Health & Safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.

Report equipment faults, quality concerns, hazards, or production issues promptly.

Work closely with colleagues, supervisors, engineers, and quality teams to ensure operational efficiency.

Complete production, assembly, picking, and packing tasks in line with daily schedules.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Previous experience within a production, manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, or logistics environment.

Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Basic computer and keyboard skills.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team.

Positive, dependable, and proactive approach to work.

Flexible attitude with a willingness to support business needs when required.

Desirable:

Forklift Truck (FLT) licence.

Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures within a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
