Due to continued growth in our implant department, we are seeking a motivated and professional Implant Nurse to join our experienced clinical team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified dental nurse who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing outstanding support during complex dental procedures.
The Role
As an Implant Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting our implant clinicians throughout the patient journey, from consultation through to surgical and restorative treatment stages. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
* Chairside assistance during implant surgical and restorative procedures.
* Preparation and maintenance of implant surgery equipment, instruments, and materials.
* Ensuring compliance with CQC, HTM 01-05, and cross-infection control protocols.
* Supporting clinicians with treatment planning and patient management.
* Assisting with digital workflows, including scanning and imaging where applicable.
* Providing reassurance and excellent care to patients undergoing treatment.
* Maintaining accurate clinical records and stock control.
* Supporting the wider clinical team as required.
Essential Requirements
* GDC-registered Dental Nurse.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
* Professional, reliable, and positive attitude.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
The following would be advantageous but are not essential:
* Sedation Nursing qualification and experience assisting with IV and/or inhalation sedation.
* Implant Nursing qualification or previous implant nursing experience.
* Radiography qualification.
* Oral Health Education qualification.
* Dental Photography qualification.
* Experience with digital dentistry, intraoral scanning, and CBCT workflows.
