Clinical Trainer
(South East Travel Required- HO based Maidstone)
£33,000 - £34,000 + Company Car + Benefits
Hill McGlynn Recruitment are proud to be working with a highly respected training provider specialising in Health & Social Care, Commercial, and Educational sector training predominantly.
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a Clinical Trainer to join their close-knit and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse or Health Care Professional, looking to move into a training-focused role, with full support and development provided for those new to training, or a someone who is a Trainer already, looking for a new company to grow with.
The Role
As a Clinical Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering engaging clinical training courses to nurses and care staff within nursing homes, care homes, and residential care settings across the UK, but mainly South East. Training topics include clinical skills such as blood taking, tracheostomy care, stoma care, enteral feeding, and other essential nursing competencies, ensuring healthcare professionals remain up to date with current best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering clinical training courses to nurses and care staff - Training day times: 10am - 4.30pm
Providing both practical and classroom-based training sessions
Ensuring training content remains current and aligned with industry best practice
Preparing and maintaining training materials and course resources
Supporting learners through engaging and interactive delivery methods
Completing monthly reports and administration duties
Attending CPD and shadowing opportunities to support professional development
Collecting and maintaining training equipment where required Requirements
Qualified Nurse with an active or previously active NMC PIN
Passion for training, mentoring, and developing others
Strong communication and presentation skills
Comfortable travelling to client sites
Organised and self-motivated with excellent time management skills
Previous training experience beneficial but not essential
Ideal location of candidate: Kent / South London / Surrey (so you can visit the office in Maidstone Kent when required) What's on Offer
Starting salary of £33,000, increasing to £34,000 upon completion of training qualification
Full training and support to become a qualified trainer
Company car provided following 6 month probation
Company phone, laptop, and equipment provided
Travel expenses covered prior to company car allocation
Company credit card following probation
Hotel accommodation and meal allowance for overnight stays
One to two admin days per month working from home
25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
