SEN Teacher – Hemel Hempstead – Small Class Setting We are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in Hemel Hempstead on a permanent basis from September.
This is a highly rewarding opportunity to work within a KS2 setting, teaching a small class of 3–6 pupils, allowing for a truly personalised and impactful approach to learning.
About the Role:
Teaching a KS2 class of 3–6 pupils with Special Educational Needs
Planning and delivering tailored, differentiated lessons
Creating a structured, nurturing, and inclusive environment
Working closely with Teaching Assistants and external specialists
Supporting pupils with EHCPs and individual learning plansThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
Proven experience working within an SEN setting
Strong understanding of needs such as ASD, SEMH, ADHD or MLD
Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
