Job Title: Workshop Administrator
Shift: Monday – Friday days (42.5 hrs)
Location: Berkeley (Gloucestershire)
Salary: £29,750
Workshop Administrator opportunity
We are looking for an organised and customer-focused Workshop Administrator to support the day-to-day operation of a busy vehicle maintenance facility. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has experience coordinating vehicle maintenance, compliance, and workshop activities.
Duties of the Workshop Administrator
Coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules, inspections, MOTs, safety checks, and compliance activities.
Manage workshop bookings, job creation, and updates through the fleet management system.
Order vehicle parts, monitor deliveries, process returns, and support warranty claims.
Maintain accurate fleet records and ensure all compliance documentation is completed and uploaded correctly.
Liaise with customers, suppliers, technicians, and internal stakeholders to provide updates and resolve queries.
Support workshop operations, including work allocation, technician administration, KPI reporting, and invoice query resolution.
Act as the first point of contact for telephone enquiries and visitors to the site.
Deliver excellent customer service while ensuring fleet downtime is minimised.
Experience/skills required for the Workshop Administrator
Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Any experience within a vehicle workshop, fleet, transport or maintenance environment would be desirable
Knowledge of fleet management systems would be a bonus
