About the Role
Destination Education is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Teaching Assistant looking to take on a rewarding role where they can make a real impact on pupils' learning and development.
Working closely with teachers and support staff, you will help deliver engaging learning activities, provide targeted support to pupils, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting both academic progress and pupil wellbeing, helping children develop confidence and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons and learning activities.
Work with individual pupils and small groups to provide targeted academic support.
Assist with planning and preparing classroom resources and activities.
Support pupils with varying learning needs and abilities.
Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
Support pupils' social, emotional, and personal development.The Ideal Candidate
Holds a recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
Has experience working within a primary school setting.
Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Has a positive, proactive, and flexible approach to supporting learning.
Can work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
