We are partnering with a well-established and growing manufacturing business that is seeking a Production Planner & Controller to join their operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced planning professional to play a key role in driving production performance, inventory optimisation, and on-time delivery across a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Working closely with production, engineering, procurement, and customer-facing teams, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient scheduling and operational excellence.

Job Description

Develop and manage production schedules to ensure customer demand and operational targets are met
Monitor inventory levels and material availability, working closely with procurement to minimise shortages and delays
Analyse forecasts, customer orders, and capacity requirements to optimise production planning
Track production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency
Act as a key liaison between production, supply chain, engineering, and customer-facing teams to ensure clear communication and on-time deliveryProduction Planner & Controller
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations within an engineering or manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, inventory management, and production planning processes
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret operational data
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
