Role: Mechanical Installation Engineer
Salary: 30-37k Dept on exp
Location: Chesterfield (Travel required)

We are seeking an experienced and conscientious Mechanical Installation Engineer to support a current project for a major utility company.

The role will primarily involve the installation of steel security doors and new locking mechanisms across secure utility sites. Due to the nature of the work, we are looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining a very high standard of workmanship, has strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working in secure environments.

Key Responsibilities for the Mechanical Engineer:

Installation of steel security doors
Fitting and commissioning of new locking mechanisms
Working safely and professionally on secure utility sites
Ensuring all installations meet the required quality standards
Completing work either independently or as part of a two-person team
Travelling to sites as required The ideal candidate for the Mechanical Engineer will have:

Previous experience in mechanical installation, door installation, locksmithing, security systems, or a similar field
Practical experience using hand and power tools
Reliable, conscientious, and able to maintain high standards of work
Comfortable working on secure sites and following site procedures
Full UK driving licence preferred
