Role Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to support a large student accommodation project starting in June in Leeds city centre, with further projects to follow across Leeds. This is a permanent role offering the opportunity to oversee a major project from inception through to completion, working within a collaborative and supportive delivery team with strong prospects for long-term career progression.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Managing mechanical works on a large-scale project from planning through to delivery and handover
* Overseeing budgets, programmes, and resource allocation
* Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders
* Ensuring all works are delivered in line with health and safety and quality standards
* Monitoring project progress and resolving any issues efficiently
* Providing regular project updates and reports
Skills and Qualifications Required
* Strong mechanical background, including HVAC, pipework, and plant systems
* Valid SMSTS/SSSTS Qualifcation
* Proven experience managing large-scale mechanical or M&E projects
* Strong organisational and leadership skills
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project timelines
* Commitment to health and safety and quality standards
* Based within or able to work in Leeds
