Connect Appointments is recruiting an Operations Coordinator to join an established logistics and shipping business based in Aberdeen.
Our client operates a busy transport and logistics operation across Scotland, the UK and mainland Europe, offering a fast-paced operational environment with a genuine focus on staff development and wellbeing.
What's on offer?
Ongoing temporary position
Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
£14.42 to £15.87 per hour - paid weekly

Retail discounts across a wide range of high street and online retailersAs an Operations Coordinator, your duties will include:
Contributing to the planning of full loads and groupage loads including inter-depot movements
Ensuring all transport and dispatch paperwork is completed accurately and on time
Processing orders and supporting end-to-end shipment activity
Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships
Handling customer queries professionally and efficiently
Communicating with colleagues across the operations function and liaising with other depots to support load planningTo be considered as an Operations Coordinator, you will need:
A reliable, organised approach to work with a strong customer focus
Clear, confident communication skills and a professional telephone manner
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and working with computer systems
The ability to work accurately under pressure as part of a busy team
