The Design Engineer will play a vital role in creating and developing innovative solutions in the industrial and manufacturing industry. This position is based in Manchester and requires a proactive individual with a focus on designing and improving new/existing product ranges.

Description

As the Design engineer you will be tasked with the following;

Delivery of sustaining engineering and NPD Projects
Creating and checking CAD models and technical drawings
Performing pertinent actions in SAP (Raising EC's, BOM creation)
Owning all stages of allocated projects from concept through testing, verification and launch
Development of new/existing products, taking into account all aspects of user experience, technical specification and production implications.
Providing innovative solutions to engineering problems.
Maintain reporting of project statuses and actively partake in meetings and discussionsProfile

A successful Design Engineer should have:

A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in using design software such as CAD or similar tools.
A solid understanding of industrial and manufacturing processes and standards.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
Experience working on cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
An eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality designs.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to engineering design.Job Offer
