Mechanical Service Engineer (Pumps & Rotating Equipment)
Salary - upto £45,000
An established engineering services provider is looking for an experienced Mechanical Service Engineer to carry out maintenance, servicing, and repair work on a variety of pump systems and associated rotating equipment.
The role involves working on-site across a regional area, performing tasks on equipment such as pumps, motors, fans, and related mechanical systems.
Key responsibilities include:
Maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of mechanical equipment
Replacement of bearings, seals, and complete units where necessary
Servicing of pumping systems, including inspection, cleaning, and operational checks
Working with control systems and ensuring correct operation of associated componentsThe position may involve working in environments such as elevated locations or confined spaces (training can be provided).
There may be requirements for additional hours and emergency call-out work, with enhanced pay rates.
Requirements:
Experience working on-site and liaising with client representatives
Strong understanding of pumps, motors, and general mechanical/electrical systems
Familiarity with control systems and electrical panels
Valid driving licenceWhat's offered:
