Finance Assistant

Redhill | Full Time | Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm | Hybrid Working Following Probation

This entry-level role offers exposure to a broad range of finance activities, making it ideal for someone looking to build a career within accounts and finance. Whether you have gained some previous office experience or are looking to transfer your skills into a finance environment, full training and support will be provided.

The Role

Working as part of a busy finance team, you will support the accurate processing of financial transactions and help ensure records are maintained to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

Processing purchase ledger invoices accurately and in a timely manner

Matching invoices, obtaining approvals and resolving discrepancies

Processing employee expenses

Responding to supplier, customer and internal finance queries

Processing bank payments and receipts

Allocating transactions within the accounting system

Completing bank reconciliations

Assisting with sales ledger administration

Supporting month-end processes and finance deadlines

Maintaining accurate records and documentation

About You

Strong numerical skills and attention to detail

Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively

Good organisational skills and a methodical approach

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Previous administration, customer service, finance or accounts experience would be beneficial but is not essential
