Looking for a DT teaching role in a supportive secondary school environment?
Smile Education is working with a welcoming secondary school in Solihull seeking a dedicated Design & Technology Teacher to join from September 2026. The successful candidate will teach DT across KS3 and KS4.
This role would suit an experienced teacher, ECT, or a teacher returning to the classroom seeking a positive and balanced working environment.
🏫 The Role
Teach Design & Technology across KS3–KS4
Deliver engaging, practical, and inclusive lessons
Support students’ progress and practical skill development
Maintain positive behaviour and classroom standards
Work collaboratively with the DT department✅ What We’re Looking For
QTS / QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience teaching DT at KS3 and KS4
Strong classroom and behaviour management
