Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in a dynamic environment? We are seeking Packers to join our team for a ongoing assignment in an Production Department. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting and are ready to make an impact, we want to hear from you!

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: £13.50

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm

Role Purpose:

As a Packer, you'll take ownership of the packaging process, ensuring our moulded pulp products are packed efficiently and accurately. Your attention to detail will contribute to the smooth flow of operations and timely delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities:

Hand pack products to customer specifications and quality standards.
Inspect products for quality, reporting any issues promptly.
Generate accurate labels for packed products.
Maintain a clean and organised packing area.
Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency.
Assist in training new team members as required.

Health and Safety:

Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures.
Actively participate in safety programmes and training.
Maintain a safe work environment by reporting hazards and unsafe conditions.

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in manufacturing or packaging is advantageous.
Basic computer skills for label generation and production recording.
Strong organisational skills and hand-eye coordination.
A caring and responsible attitude toward colleagues and the environment.
