Salary: £46,064 to £52,852 OTE (including bonuses)

As a recruitment specialist working closely with one of the UK's leading providers in children's residential care, I am pleased to present an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager to join a high performing, well supported service.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will play a key part in the day to day leadership of a children's home, supporting both the team and the young people within it. You will work alongside a strong Registered Manager, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding and operational excellence are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Registered Manager with the daily running of the home

Lead and develop a team of residential staff

Ensure compliance with regulatory and safeguarding standards

Create a safe, structured and nurturing environment

Contribute to care planning and positive outcomes for young people

What We Are Looking For

A minimum of 2 years' experience in residential childcare

Previous supervisory or senior experience within a children's home

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (essential)

Level 5 in Leadership and Management (desirable or willingness to work towards)

A full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months

A passionate, resilient and people focused leader

Salary and Benefits

Base salary: £42,664 to £49,452

Attendance bonus: up to £1,400 per year

Regional allowance: £2,000

Welcome bonus: £1,000

Loyalty bonus: £1,000 after 12 months
