We are currently seeking an experienced General Foreman (GF) to join a major infrastructure and civil engineering project based in Dundee.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily site activities and coordinate site teams.
* Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
* Manage subcontractors and direct labour resources.
* Assist with planning and programming of works.
* Conduct site briefings, toolbox talks, and inspections.
* Liaise with engineers, site management, and clients to ensure project objectives are achieved.
* Monitor productivity and maintain accurate site records.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a General Foreman on civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
* Strong knowledge of earthworks, drainage, utilities, roads, or associated civil engineering activities.
* Valid SMSTS or SSSTS qualification.
* CSCS card.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
