We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business based in the LS10 area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer seeking a permanent days-based role within a stable and supportive environment.
The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining production equipment and ensuring minimal downtime across the site. The successful candidate will be involved in both reactive and planned maintenance activities while supporting continuous improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Fault finding and repair on electrical and mechanical systems
Responding quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Maintaining accurate maintenance records
Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times
Requirements
Electrical bias engineering background
Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong electrical fault-finding abilities
Mechanical knowledge advantageous
Engineering qualifications/apprenticeship preferred
Ability to work independently and within a team
Package
Salary: £39,000
Permanent Days Role
Monday to Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm
Friday 8:00am-4:00pm
