Salary: £32,000We are seeking a dedicated Production Operative to join our team, responsible for the day-to-day operations. This role requires adherence to our strict site standards, allergen policies, and hygiene rules as outlined in the Employee Handbook. The successful candidate will be a key player in maintaining our production standards and ensuring the safety and quality of our products.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Accurately record processing information as per current working instructions.
Conduct CIP (Clean-in-Place) cleans on all equipment following current work instructions.
Perform titrations on detergent strengths as required.
Ensure the safe and standard operation of all equipment and facilities.
Report any faults or equipment breakdowns immediately to ensure safety and prevent production delays.
Maintain strict hygiene standards throughout the factory.
Provide on-the-job training for new staff and set a good example in safety and hygiene.
Offer advice to general operators on best practices and ensure compliance with work instructions.
Assist in the development of work instructions related to processing.
Report any staff-related issues to management promptly.Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in a food manufacturing.
Strong understanding of hygiene and safety regulations.
Ability to accurately record and manage data.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to train and lead others.
Proactive in maintaining equipment and facility cleanliness.
Flexibility to work different shifts and cover for holidays or sickness as needed.Benefits:
