Metalis are currently working with a manufacturing company based in Wakefield who are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Fitter / Toolmaker to join the team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Manufacture, maintain and repair tooling, dies, jigs and fixtures
Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
Carry out fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenance
Operate workshop machinery including CNC, milling, grinding and drilling equipment
Ensure tooling meets quality and production requirements
Support continuous improvement and minimise production downtime

Requirements:

Previous Toolmaking or Mechanical Assembly experience
Ability to read engineering drawings
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of machining, tooling and manufacturing processesHours & Salary:

£16.00ph - £18.00ph (dependent on experience)
Days only, Monday - Friday
