Job Overview:
Full-time, Monday - Friday Drama Teacher role.
Teach Drama across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for suitable candidates.
Plan and deliver engaging, creative and differentiated lessons.
Encourage students to develop performance, communication and collaborative skills.
Direct and support school productions, performances and extracurricular activities.
Assess, monitor and track student progress to ensure strong attainment.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
Work collaboratively with the Performing Arts department and wider school team.
Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities.This Drama Teacher role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive and ambitious school environment, with a strong focus on professional development and career progression. You will play a key role in inspiring students, developing their confidence and helping them express themselves creatively.
What we're looking for:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in Drama, Performing Arts or a related subject.
Experience teaching Drama at secondary level.
A passion for theatre, performance and creative learning.
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
Ability to engage, motivate and inspire learners of all abilities.
A proactive, positive and collaborative approach.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
