Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor | Main Contractor | Yorkshire | £50k - £60k + Package

We’re currently working with a growing construction contractor to recruit a Quantity Surveyor due to continued growth and an increasing pipeline of secured work across Yorkshire and the surrounding regions.

The business delivers a wide range of projects across commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, civils and refurbishment sectors, and they’re looking for someone who can commercially support projects from pre-construction through to final account.

This role would suit an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to join a growing contractor where they can take real ownership of projects and play a key part in the continued expansion of the business.

What You’ll Be Doing;

Managing the commercial aspects of projects from procurement through to final account

Preparing and managing subcontractor packages and valuations

Producing cost reports and monitoring project performance

Managing variations and change control

Supporting procurement and supply chain management

Working closely with operational and delivery teams

Liaising with clients, subcontractors and consultants

Assisting with forecasting and budgeting across projects

What You Will Need;

Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contracting environment

Experience working across construction, refurbishment or civil engineering projects

Good commercial awareness and contractual understanding

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Relevant construction qualification preferred
