SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary Specialist School | Bury

Are you driven to support children with additional needs and help them succeed in a nurturing environment?

We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary specialist school in Bury, where every child's development is a priority.

This well-established setting supports pupils with a wide range of complex needs.

With a focus on building confidence, independence, and communication skills, staff work collaboratively to create a structured and encouraging environment where children can thrive.

SEN Teaching Assistant - The Role:
* Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
* Assist in delivering tailored learning activities suited to individual needs
* Work with children with a variety of needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language challenges
* Encourage positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and social interaction
* Liaise closely with teachers, therapists, and the wider support team

SEN Teaching Assistant - About You:
* Previous experience working with children, ideally in an SEN or specialist setting
* Patient, flexible, and able to adapt to different learning styles
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* A genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs
* Relevant TA qualifications are beneficial but not essential
