About the Role
Veritas Education is working in partnership with a dynamic and inclusive secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit an enthusiastic and committed PE Teacher for a full-time, long-term role starting in September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-resourced department and inspire students to engage in physical education, promoting both physical health and teamwork in line with Department for Education standards.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Encourage participation, teamwork, and a positive attitude towards physical activity
Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
Contribute to extracurricular activities, including school sports teams and clubs
Maintain strong behaviour management and ensure student safety at all times
The Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting (ECTs welcome)
Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Is passionate about promoting student wellbeing and physical activity
Committed to safeguarding and supporting young people
