We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile HGV Technician to join a growing fleet operation covering the Newcastle upon Tyne area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled commercial vehicle technician who enjoys working independently and providing high-quality maintenance and repair services directly at customer sites and roadside locations. You'll be equipped with a fully fitted company vehicle and the latest diagnostic equipment, allowing you to deliver exceptional service while working across a varied fleet of commercial vehicles.

Attend customer sites and roadside locations to diagnose, service, and repair commercial vehicles
Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and preventative maintenance
Diagnose and repair faults across engine, transmission, braking, suspension, and electrical systems
Use modern diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues efficiently
Complete repairs to manufacturer and company standards
Accurately complete job cards, service reports, and maintenance records
Provide excellent customer service while representing the business professionally
Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with health and safety requirementsMobile HGV Technician Requirements
NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
Previous experience as an HGV Technician, Mobile HGV Technician, or Commercial Vehicle Technician
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Experience using modern diagnostic equipment
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Full UK Driving Licence (HGV licence advantageous but not essential)
