We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy and growing fleet operation in Edinburgh.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-equipped workshop maintaining a diverse fleet of commercial vehicles. You'll be joining a supportive team that places a strong emphasis on quality workmanship, safety, and ongoing professional development.

Diagnose and repair faults across engine, transmission, braking, suspension, and electrical systems
Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance
Use diagnostic equipment and software to identify and resolve complex vehicle faults
Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used
Communicate effectively regarding repair requirements and recommendations
Ensure the workshop remains clean, safe, and organised
Keep up to date with the latest vehicle technologies and repair techniquesHGV Technician Requirements
NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
Previous experience as an HGV Technician, Commercial Vehicle Technician, or similar
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Experience using modern diagnostic equipment
Full UK Driving Licence
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
