EYFS Teacher – Exeter
Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a large Trust for an EYFS Teacher to work in a welcoming mainstream primary school in Exeter.
This permanent, full-time role is ideal for a qualified teacher who enjoys supporting young children in their early years of education. You will play a key role in creating a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating learning environment that promotes children's development across all areas of the EYFS curriculum.
Role Details
Role: EYFS Teacher
Salary: £3,200 – £3,600 per month
Start Date: 8th June
Hours: 8:00am–5:00pm
Contract: Permanent, full-time, term time only
The Role Includes
• Planning and delivering engaging EYFS lessons and activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
• Supporting children's learning and development through play-based and structured activities
• Monitoring and assessing pupil progress and maintaining accurate records
• Creating a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Supporting children's social, emotional, and behavioural development
• Working closely with teaching assistants, parents, and other school staff to support pupil outcomes
• Encouraging independence, curiosity, and confidence in all learners
• Supervising pupils throughout the school day, including transitions and outdoor learning opportunities
We Are Looking for Candidates Who
• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) (essential)
• Have experience teaching within EYFS or Early Years settings
• Have a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development
• Are nurturing, enthusiastic, and adaptable
• Have excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Are passionate about supporting children's learning, wellbeing, and development
