Location: Orpington
Salary: GBP35,000 - GBP38,000 per year, DoE
Hours: Hours worked between 7am - 5pm.
Job type: Full-time, Permanent
Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit an experienced Warehouse Manager to join their ever-expanding team.
Responsibilities of the Warehouse Manager:
· Ensure the warehouse operates efficiently and effectively by managing, directing and training warehouse employees.
· Establish, monitor and manage operational goals.
· Be fully aware of all warehouses operational systems and procedures to ensure goods are correct when receipted in, when within the warehouse and when picked for deliveries/collections.
· Investigate, resolve and/or report problems as they arise.
· Allocate and manage staff resources according to changing needs.
· Ensure they manage a team that provides customer focused service and takes proactive actions to meet the needs of customers.
· Use IT systems to manage the control and movement of goods and to plan improvements/changes required to manage the control of goods into, stored, and out of the company.
Requirements of the Warehouse Manager:
· Previous Warehouse Management or Assistant Manager experience.
· Knowledge of transport and distribution.
· Great communication and organisational skills.
· Ability to work as part of a team and own initiative.
