My client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their Welsh Water Framework team, delivering wastewater and clean water treatment projects across North Wales.
Job responsibilities:
Managing projects through design, construction, commissioning and handover.
Developing and maintaining project programmes.
Managing project budgets, forecasts, risks and change control.
Coordinating design teams, site teams and subcontractors.
Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.
Building strong relationships with Welsh Water and other project stakeholders.
Supporting successful commissioning and asset handover.
Providing regular project reporting and governance.
Essential experience:
Experience delivering water, wastewater or civil engineering infrastructure projects.
A strong understanding of construction delivery, particularly within operational environments.
Experience managing project budgets, programmes and commercial performance.
Knowledge of NEC contracts.
Good understanding of CDM regulations and construction health and safety requirements.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and supply chain partners.
Candidate profile:
You'll be someone who takes ownership, builds strong working relationships and is comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced project environment.
You'll be equally confident speaking with site teams, designers, operational staff and client representatives, and you'll understand the importance of balancing safety, programme, quality and commercial performance
