About the Role

Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking experienced and motivated Children's Social Workers to join our Assessment Teams across East and South Cambridgeshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and forward-thinking service, where your work will directly contribute to achieving positive and sustainable outcomes for children and families.

Key Responsibilities

Lead statutory assessments, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery
Undertake strategy discussions and Section 47 enquiries
Prepare and present detailed court reports under Sections 7, 37, and 31
Complete SWET assessments and develop effective care plans
Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard children
Maintain a manageable caseload of approximately 20 casesBenefits
