Job Title: Van Driver
Location: Lutterworth
Salary: £13.50 - £14.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am to 5pm
Contract: Temporary Sickness Cover (Minimum 1 Week) with Potential Extension
About the Role
Our client is looking for a reliable and hardworking Van Driver to provide temporary sickness cover within their busy operation. This role is initially expected to last a minimum of one week, however there is the potential for the assignment to be extended.
You will be responsible for driving a company Sprinter Van, completing deliveries throughout the Leicestershire area and ensuring goods are delivered safely and on time.
This is a physically demanding role and will involve heavy lifting and manual handling as part of the delivery process.
Key Responsibilities
Driving a company Sprinter Van to complete deliveries across Leicestershire.
Loading and unloading goods safely and securely.
Carrying out heavy lifting and manual handling duties.
Ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.
Completing delivery paperwork where required.
Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
Providing excellent customer service when delivering goods.
Following all road traffic regulations and company procedures.About You
Full UK Driving Licence.
Previous van driving or multi-drop delivery experience preferred.
Comfortable driving a long-wheelbase Sprinter Van.
Physically fit and capable of carrying out heavy lifting and manual handling duties.
Reliable, punctual, and professional.
Good knowledge of the Leicestershire area.
Able to work independently.
Strong communication and customer service skills.Apply
