Our client is a successful manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Royston. They are looking to recruit an Internal Sales Coordinator to join their team on a full-time basis to cover maternity leave (12 months).

This is a varied and fast-paced role, ideal for someone with strong customer service and coordination experience. A key part of the position will involve scheduling appointments for the external sales team, so excellent diary management skills and a good understanding of UK geography are essential.

Main duties will include:

* Answering customer enquiries via phone and email

* Providing exceptional customer service and building strong customer relationships

* Scheduling and coordinating appointments for the external sales team across the UK

* Managing diaries and ensuring efficient route planning and appointment allocation

* Promoting new products via outbound calls and email campaigns

* Providing technical product information and advice to customers

* Responding to customer queries quickly and professionally

* Processing customer information accurately and maintaining internal systems

* Providing general sales administration and team support

The successful candidate will have:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Previous experience in diary management, scheduling or appointment coordination

* Strong customer service experience within a busy office environment

* Good geographical knowledge of the UK and confidence planning schedules efficiently

* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks

* A calm, professional and confident telephone manner

* Good IT skills, including experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office

* A positive, enthusiastic and team-focused approach
