We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Strood, Kent, supporting a vibrant Year 5 class on a full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or an aspiring education professional who is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential during this important stage of their primary education.
The Role
Provide classroom support within a Year 5 (KS2) setting.
Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging learning activities.
Support pupils with varying learning needs through individual and small-group interventions.
Assist with classroom preparation, behaviour management, and pupil progress.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience working with primary-aged children, ideally within KS2.
A positive, proactive, and nurturing approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
