A global leading consultancy business is investing heavily in Data and AI and is building out a high-impact team focused on designing and delivering next-generation data platforms and AI-driven solutions.

This is a chance to play a key role in shaping how organisations harness data to unlock real commercial value. You will work on complex, high-profile programmes, helping clients modernise their data estates whilst enabling advanced analytics and AI at scale.

You will be part of a collaborative, product-focused environment where architects, engineers and AI specialists work side by side to deliver tangible outcomes, not just strategy.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing end-to-end data architectures, covering ingestion, modelling, integration, governance and data serving across cloud platforms
  • Shaping architecture strategies including data modelling standards, lineage, data quality, metadata and master data management
  • Supporting and leading architectural discovery, defining data workstreams and delivery approaches across Azure, AWS, GCP and Snowflake
  • Working within cross-functional teams, including Data Engineers, AI specialists and business stakeholders, to design and assure scalable data solutions
  • Engaging with stakeholders to understand business challenges, define requirements and recommend technology solutions aligned to value and ROI
  • Translating architecture designs into practical delivery, working closely with engineering teams across pipelines, integrations and platform services
  • Contributing to data strategy, operating models and roadmap development to support long-term transformation

Your Experience

You will bring a blend of strong technical capability and consulting expertise, with experience across:

Architecture and Delivery

  • Designing and delivering enterprise data architectures across the full life cycle
  • Building data models, pipelines and semantic layers in complex environments
  • Working across structured and unstructured data platforms in cloud ecosystems

Data Management and Governance

  • Strong understanding of data governance, lineage, quality frameworks and master data management
  • Experience embedding these principles within modern data platforms

Technology and Tools

  • Data modelling expertise, ideally with tools such as Erwin or ER Studio
  • Experience integrating data from core enterprise systems, for example SAP, Oracle, Salesforce or Workday
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and cloud-native data storage and processing services
  • Exposure to MDM tools such as Informatica, or API integration using JSON and tools such as MuleSoft is advantageous

Consulting and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Proven ability to work in client-facing roles, building trusted relationships
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to link technical decisions to business value
  • Experience evaluating technology options and articulating trade-offs and ROI

Desirable Experience

  • Exposure to Agile delivery methods such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Certifications in data or enterprise architecture, for example TOGAF or cloud certifications
  • Experience developing data strategies, operating models or governance frameworks
  • Experience designing data platforms that support AI, including emerging use cases such as agentic AI

Why Join

  • Work on cutting-edge Data and AI programmes with real business impact
  • Gain exposure to a wide range of industries and complex transformation initiatives
  • Be part of a collaborative, high-performing team with strong growth ambitions
  • Benefit from flexible, hybrid working and a competitive package
