Summary

Location and setup
Hybrid working in Hertfordshire, with regular on-site attendance required due to the nature of the work.
What you will be doing
Support test engineering activities throughout development and production readiness phases
Diagnose faults within electronic sub-assemblies and circuit cards, supporting resolution through testing and analysis
Assist with the introduction and configuration control of test equipment and facilities
Produce and maintain test specifications, operator instructions and technical documentation
Work closely with manufacturing, operations and engineering teams to resolve technical challenges
Contribute to continuous improvement activities and support the development of new production test solutionsSkills and background
Relevant qualification in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related discipline
Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
Knowledge of electrical and electronic test equipment and measurement techniques
Familiarity with fault diagnosis techniques for electronic or electro-mechanical systems
Experience using manufacturing or enterprise systems such as SAP, MES or similar platforms
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skillsEssential requirements
Able to obtain and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance
Engineering qualification in a relevant discipline
Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or technical environment
Understanding of electronic measurement, fault finding and test principles
Experience working with manual or automated test equipmentSalary and rewards
Circa £44,000 depending on experience.
