Location: Swindon
Pay Rate: £13.28 per hour + 22% Shift Allowance (£16.20 per hour including shift allowance)
Shift Pattern: Rotating Double Day Shift, Monday to Friday

Week 1: 07:00 - 15:00
Week 2: 15:00 - 23:00

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for General Operators to join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Swindon.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a highly regulated production environment where quality, safety, and attention to detail are essential. You will play a key role in supporting production and packaging operations while ensuring products are manufactured to the highest standards.

Working as part of a dedicated team, you will contribute to the delivery of life-changing pharmaceutical products while benefiting from excellent training and long-term career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out manual packing and packaging of pharmaceutical products.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for gowning and working within cleanroom environments.
Support material handling activities and transfer materials into production and packing areas.
Maintain stock levels of production consumables and ensure materials remain within expiry dates.
Perform cleaning and routine maintenance of equipment and production areas.
Complete packaging, labelling, line clearance, and in-process quality checks.
Identify and report any quality or process issues to Team Leaders, Managers, or Quality Assurance teams.
Complete all production records accurately in line with GMP and Data Integrity requirements.
Adhere to all health, safety, quality, and pharmaceutical industry regulations.

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to maintain concentration and accuracy throughout a shift.
Good communication skills and ability to follow written procedures.
Reliable, punctual, and motivated approach to work.

Desirable Experience

Previous experience within pharmaceutical manufacturing, food production, or another regulated manufacturing environment.
Understanding of GMP, GDP, and Data Integrity principles.
Experience working within production, packaging, manufacturing, or cleanroom environments.

Key Skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to follow procedures and quality standards.
High levels of concentration and consistency.
Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
Team player with good communication skills.
