Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician seeking a rewarding opportunity within a reputable automotive dealership in Newbury?
Our client, a busy main dealership, is actively recruiting for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their professional team. This is an excellent chance to develop your career in a well-established environment that values technical expertise, dedication, and customer satisfaction.
Benefits:
Up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with one Saturday in four (8:00 am – 2:00 pm)
Competitive workshop environment with modern facilities
Performance-based bonuses, including weekly time saved incentives
Opportunities for career progression into senior or master technician roles
Supportive team environment focused on quality and efficiencyDuties as a Vehicle Technician:
Conducting comprehensive vehicle diagnostics, inspections, and repairs to manufacturer standards
Performing routine servicing and MOT examinations
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and efficiency
Documenting all work undertaken and advising customers on necessary repairs
Supporting colleagues in the workshop to ensure smooth workflow
Adhering strictly to health and safety practices and workshop policies
Achieving targets for productivity and quality, with the potential to earn substantial bonusesRequirements:
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician with a strong understanding of automotive systems
Level 3 qualification or equivalent, or motivated Level 2 technicians eager to develop further
Reliable, honest, and committed with a positive attitude towards work
Ability to work efficiently both independently and in a team environment
Full driving licence preferred but not always essential
