Area Sales Manager

Our client has been established since the late 1800's and has been at the forefront of designing and manufacturing their range of taps, showers and valves ever since. They supply a wide range of bathroon and kitchen solutions for both domestic and commercial options through Plumbers and Builders merchants as well as DIY outlets and Trade stores such as B & Q and Toolstation.

They are currently looking to recruit an Area sales manager to manage and develop the Northeast and Yorkshire regions. You will develop strategic plans to achieve agreed objectives and outcomes within KPI's. You will participate in development programmes as required as well as employee dialogue.appraisals and reviews. You will manage your weekly diary in a structured manner and collaborate with the wider business to share best practices and resolve any customer queries/complaints by investigating problems and providing solutions.You will also provide key market insight into change in customer requirements, competitor activity and newly launched products. You will have experience of selling a plumbing related product such as showers, bathrooms, washrooms and/or accessories to the Merchant sector and Stockists. Consideration will be given to those from a plumbing distributor who are keen to operate in the manufacturing sector
