This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate SEND practitioner to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with additional needs, helping them to thrive both academically and personally.
The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
Deliver high-quality specialist teaching and targeted interventions across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
Support pupils with a range of learning barriers to achieve strong academic, social, emotional and communication outcomes.
Utilise structured, therapeutic, sensory-based and multi-sensory approaches to learning.
Work collaboratively with the SENDCo, teaching staff, support staff and external professionals to develop ambitious and inclusive provision.
Enable pupils to access mainstream learning where appropriate, promoting confidence, resilience and independence.
Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP reviews, assessments and individual learning plans.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
Is an excellent classroom practitioner with a genuine passion for SEND and inclusive education.
Has strong experience in being an SEN Teacher understanding strategies, interventions and EHCP processes.
Builds positive, nurturing relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
Is reflective, resilient and committed to ongoing professional development.
Demonstrates a child-centred approach and a commitment to ensuring every pupil reaches their full potential.
