The Opportunity
A well-established and growing wealth management firm is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join its technical support team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented financial services professional who enjoys producing high-quality suitability reports, conducting technical research, and supporting advisers in delivering outstanding client outcomes.
Working closely with Financial Advisers and the wider operations team, you will play a key role in the end-to-end advice process, ensuring recommendations are accurately documented, compliant, and delivered efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare high-quality suitability reports and recommendation letters within agreed service levels.
Support advisers across a broad range of financial planning areas including:
Investments (ISAs, Unit Trusts, Investment Bonds and Venture Capital Trusts)
Pensions
Inheritance Tax Planning
Protection Planning
Review new business cases and gain a thorough understanding of recommendations before drafting compliant documentation.
Produce suitability reports for annual reviews involving new business recommendations.
Input and maintain client information on the firm's back-office CRM system.
Liaise with advisers regarding missing information, supporting documentation, and fact-finding requirements.
Run critical yield calculations and provider illustrations where required.
Conduct technical research to support advice recommendations and maintain compliance standards.
Prepare and submit complete advice files for review and processing.
Support the business in maintaining high standards of regulatory compliance.
Keep up to date with industry legislation, regulatory developments, and advice framework changes.
Build strong working relationships with advisers, colleagues, and management teams.
Manage individual workflows effectively while contributing to wider team objectives.
Participate in ongoing professional development, training workshops, and internal knowledge assessments.
Contribute ideas for process improvements and operational efficiencies. What's on Offer?
