As a Manufacturing Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

Determining the methods, tooling, and processes required to manufacture components accurately and efficiently
Preparing and estimating customer Requests for Quote (RFQ), including labour hours, material values, and tooling costs
Liaising with shop supervisors and customers to resolve technical queries and introduce new products effectively
Producing and maintaining Local Control Documents (LCDs), Process Control Documents (PCDs), and other manufacturing documentation
Appending and amending target working times on process planning sheets in line with drawing or process changes
As a Manufacturing Engineer, your experience will include:

Knowledge of metallic manufacturing processes, including sheet metal forming, welding, and resistance welding
Experience in aerospace sector planning and estimating (composites or machine shop experience would be an advantage)
Strong attention to detail with the ability to break down complex technical requirements into clear cost and time estimates
Good communication skills and the confidence to liaise with internal teams, customers, and subcontractors
A relevant engineering qualification, HNC, HND, or degree level (recent graduates with a strong foundation in manufacturing are encouraged to apply)
