Role: Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Electrician / Electrical Bias Engineer
Salary: £53,000 - £54,000 per annum, plus 27 days holiday + bank holidays, life assurance, pension (up to 10% 'employer' contributions and employee to match - 20% maximum total), and overtime (£10k+ potential)
Hours: Working 4 & 3 shifts on a weekly rotation
Location: Commutable from Reading, Newbury, Thatcham, Swindon, Basingstoke, Andover, Oxford, Didcot, and surrounding areas

Responsibilities

Focusing on Electrical Maintenance, the role is varied, fun and enjoyably.

Some of the areas will include;

· Maintenance of all plant and machinery through fault finding, planned preventative maintenance and various project work, including refurbishments and installations.
· Trouble-shoot / Fault Find on Siemens & other PLC equipment.
· Maintenance of sensors, relays, contactors, drives, AC/DC motors, 3 phase electrics etc. within the factory.
· Working in an Electrical Team and liaising with Mechanical Team, working together to get all engineering matters resolved.
· Provide input in the ongoing development of machinery and systems.
· Ensure safe working at all times with a right first time every time by everyone attitude to produce a cost effective, quality product whilst adhering to the Company’s policies and procedures.
· Identification of solutions that improve efficiency and reduce costs.
· To develop an understanding of machinery operation so that faults can be diagnosed and rectified efficiently.

Requirements

· Completed a recognised electrical engineering apprenticeship or equivalent and hold electrical engineering qualifications
· Electrical maintenance, service or installation background
· Ideally familiar with plant maintenance, reactive and proactive maintenance
· Electrical experience of ANY of the following; 3 phase, star / delta motors, drives, sensors, inverters, PLC’s (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron etc.), contactors, relays, control panels, servo drives.
· Experienced in a similar field, manufacturing, production or automation
· Friendly and adaptable working attitude, with the hunger and desire to learn and grow
