💰 Pay: £ 25,000 – £ 28,000 Annual Rate (depending on experience)

The Role

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our growing team. You will support individuals in their own homes to live the life they choose, helping them maintain their health, well-being, and independence.

Key Responsibilities

Providing personal care and practical support in clients’ homes

Supporting clients to make their own decisions and maintain independence

Assisting with daily activities such as meal preparation, shopping, and light housekeeping

Offering companionship and emotional support

Supporting people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and lifestyles

Liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and other carers

Helping maintain clients’ health, safety, and well-being

Medication Administration.

Skills & Abilities – What We’re Looking For

Essential:

Ability to work on your initiative and as part of a team

Understanding of the needs of older people, people with dementia, and/or learning disabilities

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Commitment to providing respectful, person-centred care

Willingness to undertake training and development

Desirable:

Flexible, innovative, and proactive approach

Experience with care planning systems

Problem-solving and decision-making skills

Experience & Qualifications

Essential:

Previous experience in a care/support environment

Good general education

Knowledge of health & safety in care settings

NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)

Desirable:

Knowledge of CQC regulations and care standards

First aid, manual handling, food hygiene, and other relevant training

Other Requirements

Satisfactory enhanced DBS check

Self-motivation, flexibility, reliability, and honesty

Commitment to equal opportunities

Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (Desirable)
