Senior Data Engineer - Snowflake/Asset Management/CRIMS
We are currently looking for an experienced Data Engineer to support a major European Asset Management organisation on a large-scale CRIMS SaaS migration programme.
This is a key role within a high-profile transformation initiative, focused on data engineering, migration, integration, and platform modernisation across critical investment management systems and data platforms.
The successful candidate will work closely with architecture, data, and business teams to support the migration of CRIMS into a SaaS environment, helping to ensure robust, scalable, and high-quality data solutions throughout the programme life cycle.
FULLY REMOTE
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimise data pipelines and integrations supporting the CRIMS SaaS migration
- Work extensively with Snowflake for data engineering, transformation, and optimisation activities
- Support data migration, reconciliation, validation, and data quality processes
- Collaborate with business, technology, and vendor teams across the migration programme
- Analyse existing data structures and support target-state data architecture
- Assist with ETL/ELT processes, data mapping, and data modelling activities
- Support troubleshooting, issue resolution, and performance optimisation across the data estate
- Contribute to best practices around data governance, scalability, and operational support
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience as a Data Engineer within Asset or Investment Management
- Proven experience working with Snowflake in enterprise environments
- Experience supporting large-scale platform migrations or transformation programmes
- Strong understanding of data integration, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data warehousing concepts
- Experience working with investment management platforms and data environments
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large and complex datasets
- Ability to work independently within a fully remote international team
Desirable Experience
- Experience with CRIMS or Charles River Investment Management System
- Experience working on SaaS migration programmes
- German language skills would be highly desirable
- Exposure to cloud-based data platforms and modern data engineering tooling
