CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Global QHSE Lead to join our team. The individual acts as the lead subject matter expert for client and CBRE FM function and is required to provide guidance and assurance to client on compliance to Health and Safety requirements across all Client locations. You will provide leadership and support to the CBRE FM Team on health and safety matters and will drive client health and safety initiatives and corporate goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Build relationships with Client Asset Managers and key stakeholders in order to establish credibility from a health & safety perspective.
Partner with People Team to drive employee wellness and safety initiatives.
Implement and oversee Health and Safety audit plan and manage issues through to completion in a timely manner.
Lead and coordinate the development and implementation of best practice health and safety policies and procedures
Measure and report on health and safety performance against agreed targets
Own and lead HS committee/forums
Supports Client RFPs and bidding process by completing and providing the necessary HS data/information
Own the Health and Safety e-learning online software.
Lead and drive ISO45001 strategy
Ensure CBRE team health and safety competence levels are continually satisfactory
Provide managerial oversight to the H&S compliance of all supply partners, ensuring best practice and achieving a partnership approach
Key interface with CBRE central HSSE function to ensure the management system is delivered consistently.
Supports the Client with portfolio changes through conducting health and safety gap analysis.
Drive compliance to CBRE QHSE platform requirements as appropriate
Own the software for Management and Control of contractors (ATW)
Ensure each location within the portfolio is audited for H&S compliance at least annually
Act as a centre of competence providing advice to Client and CBRE staff on appropriate legal and policy standards.
Lead and manage a team of health and safety professionals to ensure implementation of standards across all areas.
Act as an escalation point for the investigation of health and safety incidents
Initiate and drive client corporate Health and Safety objectives
Involved in health and safety budgeting and resource allocation for HS teamEssential Skills:
Educational degree in a Safety/Engineering discipline
Internal Management System auditing qualification or experience to ISO45001
Leadership experience in a complex matrix organisation
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across different levels of businessWhy CBRE
