Monday to Friday Office Hours

Basic Salary: £45,000.00 to £50,000.00 Per Annum

Location: Skelmersdale, Lancashire

Due to further expansion plans, our market leading client is seeking an enthusiastic & dynamic Health and Safety Manager to join their highly successful business and support the board of Directors as Health and Safety Manager on a Full Time Permanent basis.

As a Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for:

Taking on a leading role, become responsible for all aspects of Health and Safety onsite
Drive and innovate Health and Safety practices at the site as a Health and Safety Manager in line with Company objectives and timescales.
Dedicated and motivated in achieving ISO45001 certification in line with current company achievements
Improve and develop current policies and procedures and ensure measures are implemented to achieving standards
Organise and hold Health and Safety meetings in order to communicate new strategies
Liaising with regulatory organisations and submit reports in a timely manner as a Health and Safety Manager
Work and maintain relationships with internal and external colleagues as a Health and Safety Manager
Develop and maintain a culture of continuous Health and Safety improvements and practices.
As an Health and Safety Manager, you MUST have:

A Minimum NEBOSH certificate or NVQ equivalent
A high level of knowledge around Health and Safety legislations and practices
Minimum of 3 to 5 Years experience in a Health and Safety role as ideally a Health and Safety Manager.
A Chemical and Manufacturing background would be highly desirable as a Health and Safety Manager.
