Are you a passionate and inspiring English Teacher looking for your next full-time role? We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming secondary school inBlackpool seeking a dedicated English specialist to join their team from September 2026.

About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and a commitment to supporting pupils of all abilities to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons to KS3 and KS4
Prepare students for GCSE examinations with confidence and clarity
Create a positive and stimulating learning environment
Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners
Work collaboratively with the English department to maintain high standards
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge in English Literature and Language
Experience teaching in a secondary school setting
Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
Ability to start full-time from 13th April 2026
