Fabricator – Bespoke Metalwork (Dunstable) – Up to £22phWe are currently looking for an experienced Fabricator to join a well-established and highly respected bespoke metal fabrication company based in Dunstable.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Fabricator who takes pride in their work and enjoys variety — no repetitive production welding here. Every project is different, with high-end architectural metalwork where your finish is on show.
The RoleAs a Fabricator, you will be working across the full fabrication process, including:
Reading and interpreting technical drawings
Fabricating and assembling bespoke metalwork
MIG and TIG welding (TIG preferred)
Preparing materials to a high standard
Producing clean, aesthetically pleasing welds
Working with stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium
Getting involved in new technology including handheld laser weldingThis is a true all-round Fabricator position — ideal for someone who enjoys building projects from start to finish.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a Fabricator (not just welding)
Confident reading and working from engineering drawings
Strong MIG welding ability (TIG experience highly desirable)
Experience with stainless steel, aluminium, or mild steel
Able to produce neat, high-quality visible welds
Comfortable working on bespoke / one-off projects
Willingness to learn new skills (including laser welding)Package
Up to £22 per hour
Monday to Friday (7:00am – 4:30pm)
45 paid hours per week
