Joining a growing and ambitious accountancy practice, you'll become part of a team where tax advisory and compliance work sits at the heart of the client offering. As a Tax Senior, you'll enjoy broad exposure across a range of tax matters, working closely with clients, HMRC and colleagues while taking ownership of your own workload. Whether your ambition is to deepen your technical expertise or build a long-term career in a practical, client-focused role, you'll have the support and flexibility to shape your future in a way that suits you.
With a shorter working week, early Friday finishes and genuine opportunities for progression, this is a role designed to help you enjoy both your career and your life outside of work.
Role Overview
Manage a varied portfolio of tax compliance and reporting matters
Liaise directly with clients, HMRC and internal stakeholders
Prepare calculations and submit HMRC filings, claims, registrations and clearances
Identify complex issues and escalate where appropriate.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience within an accountancy practice OR tax environment
Exposure across a variety of taxes including personal, corporate, CGT, trusts etc.
ATT qualified, or similar, is advantageous but by no means essential - candidates deemed qualified by experience will also be considered.
What's on Offer
Salary up to £45,000
35-hour working week - 2pm finish every Friday!
Full shutdown between Christmas and New Year
